SUCCESSFUL SALVAGE OF CENTRAL VENOUS CATHETER AFTER > 75% OF CATHETER-RELATED BLOOD STREAM INFECTION (CRBSI) IN CHILDREN ON LONG-TERM HOME PARENTERAL NUTRITION (PN)
Excellent study. It is very helpful in practice to know how likely it is to salvage the CVL after an infection as parents tend to ask.
It is interesting to know if you change your practice after a CVL infection in terms of line locks, do you change the type from Heparin to Taurolock for example ? or do you use one type of line lock irrespective of infection history in your centre. Thanks
