Will you recommend for HLA screening at the time of presentation for asymptomatic child or with other autoimmune condition/Trisomy 21?

Hi
Thanks for the question
The ESPGHAN 2020 recommends HLA screening not needed even for asymptotic screening and recommends initial screening with IgA TTG and total IgA for every one.

Great poster

Any idea how many children with TGA-IgA <10xULN were diagnosed via the NBP

Great to see your poster. Do you agree that HLA typing screening can be dropped now?

Thanks Soe
I agree with no HLA approach when we have TTG > 10 ULN and with positive EMA
